Conciousness and Self Esteem

Self esteem is generated from what you believe about yourself. We all have thoughts and ideas about who we are in the now that come directly from childhood. Our adult caregivers and society at large give us a sense of life and where we fit in from the time we are born. Their ideas, thoughts and opinions are passed down to us. What they think of us, becomes what we think of ourselves. For instance, a child that is always called stupid will believe they are, as opposed to a child who is told they can become anything. From the moment we start listening and conforming to these teachings we begin to mold who we think we are. This is where the ego steps in and tries to protect itself from feeling inadequate. Our higher self already knows this, but as humans we "grow an ego" to present to the world as "us". As children we are always trying to please and be accepted by our elders and piers. What we are taught and how we are taught during this crucial learning period is ultimately how we perceive ourselves as adults. When we realize that any limitations to our personal growth now are rooted in the misconception that we are what our parents and society say we are, we can break from the mold. We as human beings can change the way we teach and what we teach our children from birth. Instead of shame and embarrassment as a learning tool we should use positive reinforcement to anything a child tries their hand at. As for the adults in any society struggling with low self esteem it would be wise to realize that you don't know who you really are and you need to make your life your priority. Your thoughts create your reality. Thinking that you have a lack of worth is imaginary, because you can change that to the thought you are worthy and you so become that thought. You can be whatever you choose to think you are, so choose well. Give yourself time to quietly think about your strengths and build on them, take action in that direction. Moving your thoughts to a higher level will bring the situations to evolve into your life at a greater pace. Giving yourself the right to be whatever you want to be will make it easier to let others do the same. Dropping all judgments about yourself will help you do the same for others. Do not wait for others to show you your worth, they cannot until you do this first. You will be treated in the manner you treat yourself, so open the door to freewill and freeing yourself to be you.

What if you were told that you create your entire life's experiences from an energetic point of view? That every thought you had caused emotions to arise within and that the energy of the emotion would bring that very experience into your life? It has taken me from childhood to adulthood to discover this fact. What we think of will become our reality. The mind is a powerful tool. Without knowing how it works with the universe is like trying to drive a car with a flat tire; you will move, but not without much difficulty. If we were taught from the cradle, that our mind, controlled by a wise heart, can create what we call miracles, we would all be living the life of our "higher selves". Our bodies send out magnetic energies through our heart with the thought processes. Those unseen energies have their own unique magnifying vibratory tone. Happiness, joy, anger, sadness, they all send out a vibration correlating to the emotion. That is why group prayer is so powerful. Many people praying, with the same thoughts, brings much more energy to light. It would benefit every human being if they realized their thoughts and then emotions are a magnetic energy that can only bring back what it sends out. To create a life of love and light is as easy as holding those thoughts and continuing throughout even stressful moments. What you put out, you will certainly get back. It is up to all of us as individuals to be responsible with our thoughts. We have the ability to be carriers of good or bad thoughts that create our reality. One higher form of enlightenment is realizing we are all one and that we should be creating the best for ourselves, which in turn will do right by others. Thinking right doesn't just feel right, it brings the right experiences straight to your door.
